Professional Cleaning OEM Care

We use the same equipment and follow
the same methods as the original manufacturer. Because we use correct
processes, our repairs and alterations are accepted by the manufacturers, and
no warranties are voided. We repair and inspect garments that keep fire
fighters safe, and we take that responsibility seriously. To ensure that all
work is done properly, our cleaning and repair processes are paired with a
rigorous 9-step system designed to check and re-check that garments are cleaned
and repaired up to current industry standards and beyond. |

- Our process does not negate manufacturers'
warranties
- Initial Inspection: Garments are inspected upon
receipt.
- Pre-clean: We treat spots and stains to be sure
they'll be removed during cleaning, as well as providing decontamination if
necessary.
- Cleaning: Thorough deep cleaning is performed with
appropriate procedures.
- Moisture Barrier Test: Moisture Barriers are
tested on low-pressure hydrostatic device as supplied by W.L. Gore &
Associates.
- Re-inspect: We inspect the element to determine
what repairs are required.
- Repair: Repairs are made according to NFPA 1851
and established industry standards
- Final Inspection: Before packaging and shipping,
we inspect all garments to assure that all work has been done up to
standards.
- Shipping: we package and ship everything back to
you or, for fire departments in the Bay Area, we provide free delivery, 48-72
hours from time of receipt.
- Documentation: All cleaning and maintenance is
documented in Total Fire Group's Advanced Protective Tracking system. We will
send you copies of all reports for your records. For those who use APT for
tracking, we can email you a packet that will input all maintenance and
cleaning information directly into your tracking system.
Our cleaning process is aimed at completely removing
combustion supporting foreign matter from between the fibers of the cloth. We
accomplish this by thoroughly cleaning each garment, and bringing it to the
full compliance with NFPA 1851 guidelines.
No manufacturers warranties are voided by
our process.
